Environmental Technologist

The Development Technology Centre (DTC) Research Group, Dublin Institute of Technology, are currently seeking an Environmental Technologist to work as part of their program team in Sierra Leone. The successful applicant will work with our international partners, Christian Aid, and national partners, RADA to manage an Environmental Resource Centre. The work will focus on design and construction of appropriate technologies in the areas of Rainwater Harvesting, Eco-Sanitation and Household Water Treatment. The role will involve some construction skills together with training of local community artisans in the technologies. The candidate will manage a water testing facility established within the centre. The position is based in a shared house in the Pujehun District of Sierra Leone.
