Biography

Eoin McLean graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology with a first class honours degree in Electrical Services and Energy Management.

He is a lecturer in the school of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Dublin Institute of Technology and is a lecturer for the degree programme in Electrical Services Engineering. He is also programme chair for the Bsc in Electrical Services and Energy Management. He previously worked in Industry as an Electrician, specialising in low voltage switchgear and holds a BEng Tech in Electrical Services Engineering and p.grad Dip in Third Level Teaching. His interests in research are in the areas of energy storage and energy market analysis, in which he is currently pursuing his PhD.
