Kevin O’Farrell is a researcher in the Dublin Energy Laboratory. He is also a lecturer in Electrical Services Engineering with the Dublin Institute of Technology. Kevin holds qualifications in Engineering and Mathematics including an MSc in Advanced Engineering Applications. He has worked as a Design Engineer and as an Electrician. His research interests are in the areas of electrical engineering and education. His is currently undertaking a PhD based on solar energy and artificial lighting. He is the Treasurer of the newly re-established Solar Energy Society of Ireland (S.E.S.I.).
