Biography
Moin Hanif with his High Achievers Award scholarship, graduated from University of Nottingham with a 1st class in BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2007. He joined Dublin Institute of Technology, School of Electrical Engineering Systems from January 2008 for his PhD Research on the Smart Grid Technology Platform/Distributed Energy Generation. His main research work is on PV energy (solar energy) which deeply includes Power Electronic converters and Inverters (Grid Tie Inverters).
Moin is also working as a Research Assistant with Dublin Energy Lab, FOCAS Institute on the Strand 3: SEAR Project (Solar Energy Applications & Research), installing solar panels, maintaining sensor readings and related computer systems.
