Prasad Jadhav

PhD Researcher


Prasad graduated from the University of Mysore, India in 2005 with a M Tech in Building Automation which focused on energy simulation, with special interest in sustainable energy design in the built environment, energy life-cycle analysis, policy on energy and the environment. In 2000, Prasad received a first class Bachelor of Architecture degree from Karnataka University, Dharwad, India.

He is currently pursuing further postgraduate studies at the Dublin Energy Lab?s Energy policy in domestic building commissioned by Irish Government Technological Sector Research Initiative in the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Prasad is a LEED Assessor and Faculty for LEED ? India and has worked as an Architect-Green Buildings in CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, Hyderabad, on LEED-India green building rating system for India, conducted feasibility studies for green building projects has performed energy/lighting simulation for buildings, prior to commencing the PhD research position.

Research Interests include Energy Policy, Renewable Energy Technologies, Sustainable Development, Carbon trading, Embodied Energy and Life Cycle Analysis and CDM.
