National Finals of the "Where there is no Engineer" design competition

Engineers Without Borders-Ireland, together with DTC Research Group and Concern Worldwide would like to invite you to attend the National Finals of the "Where there is no Engineer" design competition.

The finals are taking place in the Banquet Hall of Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin on Saturday the 6th June. 

 

The programme for the day is;

10am - Official opening by An Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton TD.

10:30am - Music by the Dublin Gospel Choir

11am - 3pm - Presentations by the Finalists (approx. 15 minutes each)

3pm-3:30pm - Judges decisions and presentation to winners

 ‌

Twelve projects, from University, College and Professional teams have been selected at Regional Finals to participate on Saturday. The winning team will be funded by Davies Water to travel to Kenya and see their project implemented by our programme partners Concern Worldwide.
