The Faculty of Applied Arts at DIT is the Republic of Ireland's largest provider of professional education and training in visual and performing arts and the media, as well as offering a broad selection of education and research programmes in the fields of social science, law and languages.
Growing international recognition of the social and economic potential of arts-centred industry has made professional training in the arts beneficial for students and attractive to employers. At the Faculty of Applied Arts, we prepare our students for professional life through the development of innovative training and education programmes in disciplines that are dynamic and expansive by nature.
