Public Lecture

The Dublin School of Architecture at DIT will host a lecture by world-renowned Finnish architect Juhani Pallasmaa on Thursday 11 February in Bolton Street.  Juhani Pallasmaa is a prolific architect involved in architectural, product, and graphic design.  He is also a writer and lecturer on topics related to cultural philsophy, environmental psychology, and architectural theory.  His lecture in DIT is entitled "The Thinking Hand: embodied and existential wisdom?"

All welcome to attend.  No admission charge.

The Dublin School of Architecture is one of four schools in the DIT Faculty of the Built Environment. There are two departments in the Dublin School of Architecture: the Department of Architecture and Urban Design and the Department of Architectural Technology.

The Department of Architecture and Urban Design offers a five year Level 8 honours Degree in Architecture programme (DT101) and a two year part time Certificate in Design Studies programme (B701).

The Department of Architectural Technology offers a three year Level 7 ordinary Degree in Architectural Technology programme (DT105).
