SciFest
,
an annual Science Competition for secondary school students, will be taking
place in the Kevin Street campus of the Dublin Institute of Technology on
Thursday, 15th April 2010.
This year, there are more than 100 different projects, across the whole spectrum of Scientific enquiry, from some of the brightest minds in 25 of Dublin's secondary schools.
The contest is sponsored by Intel Ireland who are providing some judges, as are other organisations such as the Dublin Institute of Technology, Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, The Institute of Physics in Ireland, Office of Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government and the Electricity Supply Board.

Faculty Mission
Our mission is to provide opportunities and facilities for aspiring scientists of all ages to pursue careers in science and cognate disciplines. We aim to achieve this by developing our teaching, research, consultancy, and scholarly role and also by continuing to contribute to the technological, social and economic well-being of society in Ireland and Europe.
