Dec 2012 - The Grasshopper Programme, developed by Dr Theresa Hedderman of the Focas Research Institute, went to Belmayne Educate Together National School this year. The programme is an interactive demonstration suitable for 5-12 year olds and helps students at primary level to develop science and research skills. Her poster was entitled "Systematic study into substituent’s effect on the Performance of a series of therapeutic Ru(II) complexes". Her supervisors are Dr Luke O'Neill and Dr Christine O'Connor.
