Fee
Scholarships will be awarded to all those accepted on the programme and students, therefore, will not be required to pay fees. The course is being funded by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and administered through the Higher Education Authority. Confirmation regarding funding for the next cohort (September 2013) has not yet been received. Applicants will be kept informed as information regarding funding is received by DIT from the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and the HEA. It should be noted that the programme and associated scholarships are contingent on such funding being provided.
Venue
Lectures, classes and seminars on the MA in Applied Irish will be held in the Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street, Dublin 2. For information on this location, click here.
Timetable
The classes will be held on Tuesdays (6-9 pm) during Semesters 1-3. Students will also be required to attend three Saturday workshops per semester (4 hours each). Work on the portfolios / minor theses will be supervised in Semester 4.
Teaching staff
The course will be taught by DIT staff, Gaelchultúr Teoranta and guest lecturers from the Applied Irish sector.
