Important Information for Students
required to undertake Supplemental (Repeat) Assessments
You will receive your results either
a) using the online DIT Self Service system or
b) as a transcript of results in the post
If a module has a comment ‘Repeat all Components Less than 40’ that means that you have not passed the module and will be required to complete some or all of the components of the module. You should log in to the DIT Self Service system to find out which components you must repeat. Where a module has the comment ‘Repeat all components less that 40’ click on the Blue CRN Number, e.g. 10503, for that module and you will see the details of what components are less than 40. If there is an exam grade less than 40 you will be required to resit the examination and the timetable will be sent to you by email from the examinations office.
If there is an assessment grade less than 40 you should log on to https://dit-bb.blackboard.com/ to download your supplemental assessment specification. Please click here for additional information.
Unless otherwise specified in the assessment specification, assessments must be submitted and signed-in to the School Office by 12:00 p.m. (Midday) on Friday 31st August 2012. All assessments must be accompanied by a completed and signed cover sheet which can be found along with instructions on the Repeat Assignment Blackboard webpage.
If you cannot log-in to https://dit-bb.blackboard.com/ or can find no assessment specification for the component you are required to complete, contact the School Office on 01-4024352.
