This module introduces the learner to the core concepts, principles, theories and practices of effective management essential to the successful operation of an enterprise in the Hospitality, Tourism, Leisure ane Event Industries. This module is intended and structured as a core subject, providing an integrated overview of the fundamental concepts of management which will be developed in Management II. Additionally, issues examined in this module will be further broadened in Human Resource Management and Marketing. This module is also part of the Get Smart initiative. The module will be delivered via a learner centered approach where the learner will be encouraged to apply all management concepts in an analytical and professional manner.
