Ziene Mottiar

 

Dr. Ziene Mottiar is a lecturer in the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism in Dublin Institute of Technology. She is programme tutor for BSc(Hons) Tourism Management, BSc(Hons) Hospitality Management and BSc(Hons) Leisure Management. She co-ordinates the undergraduate and postgraduate theses and lectures on a variety of modules including Entrepreneurship, Globalisation and Economics.

  • 2005 Awarded DIT Team Research Scheme (TERS) funding worth €50,000 for research into minority entrepreneurship in Ireland. 
  • 2005 Awarded funding under the DIT Teaching and Learning Programme for the ‘Write Right’ project. This involved the development of an on-line module to improve undergraduate writing skills.
