Alex Gibson lectures in tourism and hotel marketing on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Faculty of Tourism and Food. His professional experience includes various marketing roles in the UK with Nabisco, Danone and Holiday Inn. Alex has published extensively and is a regular contributor on marketing issues in consumer and trade publications. He is a past-President of the Irish Chapter of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. Alex also presents a weekly radio show on marketing issues called The Persuaders and also presents The Media Show - a monthly review of media and advertising issues on an Irish cable television network.
