Bernadette O'Reilly
Bernadette is the manager of DIT Hothouse Incubation. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations from the DIT. She joined the PDC in 1997, having previously worked in a marketing position with a young dynamic marketing company. Prior to becoming Centre Manager in 2002, Bernadette worked closely with participants of the Enterprise Development Programme and the Hothouse Programme, providing them with business development advice and skills training.
She assisted a number of the entrepreneurs with PR and the development of their strategic marketing plans. She was responsible for the Hothouse Enterprise Award evenings, which were recognised dates in the enterprise community's calendar.
As Centre Manager Bernadette works closely with small business owners at all stages of their company development. She is responsible for the delivery of a range of support services to approximately 30 start-up companies per year, as well as assisting an ever-expanding network of ex-participants.
