“Fashion is architecture: it’s a matter of proportions.” This quote by Coco Chanel, explores the relationship between fashion and architecture. The Vogue Headquarters located in the Anchorage is an expression of this fusion. The clothing pattern concept allowed me to create many different spaces. The concept of the spaces was influenced by the journey on the pattern. The interior contains public and private areas. On the basement floor there is a large closet followed by a public restaurant on the ground floor. Private offices for the employees of the Vogue publication occupies the next three floors and a venue on the top floor over looks the beautiful scenery of the Dublin docklands.
