Inventor of the Month Competition 2015

DIT Hothouse has launched an exciting new Monthly Inventor Competition, offering a €250 prize voucher to the best invention proposal received each month.

The Competition is open to all staff and students of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Institute of Technology Tallaght, Dublin (ITTD), Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB), the Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Dun Laoghaire (IADT) and National College of Ireland (NCI).

The competition aims to promote, uncover and recognise innovation and creativity across DIT and our partner institutions.

How to Enter
DIT entrants* should complete the DIT Invention Disclosure Form  and return this to hothouse@dit.ie before the end of the month for inclusion. Successful applicants will be notified by telephone and the winners announced via the DIT Hothouse website at the beginning of the month thereafter.

Applicants should make sure that their idea/invention is not already on the market.

All entries will be scored on their originality, benefits, market potential, and development/ commercialisation feasibility. Please read the  Inventor of the Month 2015 Terms and Conditions before submitting an entry.
