For your chance to win a €250 prize voucher, simply complete the DIT Invention Disclosure Form 2015 and return this to hothouse@dit.ie by Monday, February 29th.
All entries will be scored on their originality, benefits, market potential, and development/ commercialisation feasibility. Please read the Inventor of the Month 2015 Terms and Conditions before submitting an entry. Successful applicants will be notified by telephone and the winners announced via the DIT Hothouse website in November. Applicants should make sure that their idea/invention is not already on the market. Staff and Students from partner institutions should consult their local technology transfer/industrial liaison office for application details.
About the Dublin Region Innovation Consortium
The Inventor of the Month Competition is open to all staff and students of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Institute of Technology Tallaght, Dublin (ITTD), Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB), the Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Dun Laoghaire (IADT) and National College of Ireland (NCI). The five institutions comprise the Dublin Region Innovation Consortium (DRIC) which is funded by Enterprise Ireland to maximise the impact of research in each of the institutions. DIT Hothouse, the technology transfer office at DIT, provides knowledge transfer and commercialisation support to all members of the consortium.
