DIT Hothouse startup Horus win at the 2018 Facilities Management Awards
DIT Hothouse startup Horus won multiple awards at the annual Facilities Management Awards gala, the ceremony took place on Wednesday, January 31st at the Ballsbridge Hotel Dublin.
The Facilities Management Awards is the premier awards programme for benchmarking excellence within Ireland's FM sector, attended by the FM industry's most influential figures and leading organisations.
Horus won the Overall Excellence in Facilities Management award & Innovation in Technology & Systems - End Users Award for their Horus Sentinel, which is the world’s first synthetic sensor to act as an early warning set-up for system failures in all things HVAC and plant, utilising temperature, vibration and sound just like the human senses.
Horus completed the New Frontiers programme in 2017 with DIT / IADT and are based in DIT’s new startup incubator, The Greenway Hub, DIT Grangegorman
About New Frontiers
‘New Frontiers’ is Enterprise Ireland’s national entrepreneur development programme. It is delivered by DIT Hothouse, in conjunction with IADT Media Cube in Dun Laoghaire. It comprises 3 phases and offers successful entrepreneurs a combination of training, incubator space and up to €15,000 in a tax / equity free stipend. Recruitment takes place circa every 3 months.
