Inventors Competition 2006
Over thirty entries were received for this year's DIT Inventor Competition, which has been won by Derek Kearney, Electrical Services Engineering, for his invention of a novel hot/cool bedding material.

Congratulations also to the runners-up, who were:
Dr.John Colreavy and Niall Stobie of CREST for self stratified coatings, for which a commercial licence has already been won and Pavan Musunuru, currently studying Engineering, for his invention of a Personal Operating System
