If a staff member of DIT wishes to cease their employment they should provide written notification to their Line Manager (and copied to HR) in line with the notice period provided for in their contract of employment (normally one month).

In the case of Pro-rata part time and Hourly Paid staff members if the intention is not to continue a contract into the next academic session or if the employment ceases during an academic session the appropriate Cessation Form (with any applicable documentation) should be forwarded to HR in advance of the last date of employment.
