Technology Committee

What is the Technology Committee (TC)?

The Technology Committee will review current and planned ICT activity on behalf of the DIT (through ERC) and must express business needs, concerns and priorities. The terms of reference of the Technology Committee, as approved by ERC notes members must represent all significant areas of business in a balanced way.

Key activities for the representatives include:

• Liaise with and act as a facilitator in the communication with staff and in obtaining the necessary feedback from colleges, local ICT interests, user groups, directorates, students and other stakeholders;
• Assist where appropriate in the preparation of documentation;
• Each College \ Function representative is responsible for conveying information (particularly in regard to relevant new curriculum or course delivery mode developments) appropriately to and from both their respective College Boards and other Committees in their function.
