IT Compliance Office

Reporting to the CIO, the IT Compliance Office oversees the IS Compliance Program, functioning as an independent and objective service that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the Institute. The position ensures that IT policies and procedures are being followed, and that behaviour in the organisation meets the Institute’s Code of Conduct.

The Compliance Office exists:

• To identify Institute IT systems, processes and information resources that have compliance/security requirements
• To plan, implement and oversee an IT Compliance programme to cover IT security, IT procurement, IT service management, IT governance & communications, and the Programme Management office
• To receive and direct compliance issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution
• To support the Institute’s mission as a comprehensive higher education institution providing teaching programmes and research
