Informal Learning Spaces in DIT
Informal learning spaces are areas for students to work together or check their emails in a more relaxed environment than a classroom or computer lab. They are generally located near canteen areas or in corridors and you won’t have to mute your phone or whisper to your friends.
These learning spaces have been developed as a collaborative project between numerous stakeholders including Information Services, Campus Life, Library Services, Buildings and DIT Students Union. The spaces can be found in all the main buildings and more details on the facilities available at each site are listed below. Note that all learning spaces now have improved access to the DIT
