The library catalogue contains the complete list of DIT library holdings including books, journals, electronic resources, exam papers, dissertations and audio visual materials.  You can use the library catalogue in the following ways:

• Author
• Title
• Author / Title combined
• Keyword - if you don't know the exact title
• Subject
• Journal Title - for printed and electronic journals
• Advanced Search - if you want to limit searches by date, material type or by site library
• New Books
• Exam Papers

Access electronic resources

• Subject Databases - abstracts of journal articles
• Electronic Journals - full text articles
• Subject Gateways - specific to DIT courses
• Other Libraries - search other college libraries in Ireland

View your library account

• Go to library.dit.ie
• Click on My Library
• Click My Account
• Enter your ID number and PIN.
• You can view your items on loan, manage holds and renewals, set up preferred searches and reading history
• If you don't know your PIN please contact your site library or click here for instructions to create a new PIN
