Library membership
Students
All registered DIT students are automatically members of the library. Your student ID card is your library card and your college ID number is the same ID number you will need to access library resources from home. You can use your library card in all DIT site libraries.
Staff
All DIT staff are welcome to use the Library. You will need to apply for a Staff Card which also serves as your Library Card and it may be used in all DIT libraries.
A Staff Card may be obtained by calling to either one of the following offices:
Location: Student Service Centre, Room G-044, Ground Floor, Aungier Street
Opening Hours: Mon-Thurs 09:00-13:00 and 14.00-17.00
Friday: 9.00-13.00 and 14.00-16.00
OR
Location: Student Service Centre, Room 319, First Floor, DIT Bolton Street
Opening Hours: Mon-Thurs 09:00-13:00 and 14.00-17.00
Friday: 9.00-13.00 and 14.00-16.00
You will need to provide your DIT Staff number, have your photo taken and your card will be issued immediately.
