Visiting other libraries

Undergraduates

DIT undergraduates may visit other academic libraries to read books or journals that are not available in DIT library.  You will need a Letter of Introduction   from DIT library to gain access to these libraries. You will not be entitled to borrow from other libraries. Before requesting a Letter of Introduction from your DIT site library, please ensure that the item you require is not available in DIT.  You may also check the online catalogue of the library you wish to visit to ensure the items you require are available there.

Postgraduates, full-time academic staff and academic-related staff

DIT Masters and PhD students, full-time academic staff and academic-related staff may apply for an ALCID card which entitles you to visit the libraries of ALCID member institutions.
