Borrowing Books
To borrow items from our library you will need your student card or library staff card. Locate the item on the shelf using the Catalogue and then bring it up to issue desk. Any Main Lending item can be borrowed from the library. All other items are for use in the library only. See Collections for information on other items available in the library.
Loan Periods

| Taught Postgraduates | 10 items for 28 days |
| Research Postgraduates | 10 items for 90 days |
| Staff | 15 items for 90 days |
| External Readers | 2 items for 28 days |
Main lending items can be renewed once as long as they are not overdue or have holds on them.
Fines
Fines will be charged on any items that are overdue and you will not be able to borrow if you have fines of €1.20 or more on your account.
