Borrowing from Kevin St Library
Items from the lending collections may be borrowed as follows:
Undergraduate students: 6 items for 14 days
Postgraduates (taught): 10 items for 28 days
Postgraduates (research): 15 items for 90 days
Academic staff: 15 items for 90 days
Loans and return dates be viewed on your Library Account. Use this account to renew items before they go overdue - you need your current DIT student number and a Library PIN to login.
Renewals : items be renewed once only.
Reminders: The book return date is stamped inside the borowed item. Reminder emails are sent to your DIT email account before and after your loans become overdue for return
Fines: are charged at 30c per day for overdue items
Other Collections:
- AudioVisual and multimedia: items such as dvds and cds are loaned for 7 days only.
- Short Loan and Reference Collection items are for use in the Library only.
- Laptops may be borrowed on a 3 hour loan or 28 day loan basis. Laptop loans may not be renewed.
