Clickers

Kevin St Library offers a set of 40 clickers and Turning Point software for use in a classroom environment.  The set can be borrowed from the Library Desk on a 24 hour or short loan basis by any DIT staff member.

What are they?

Clickers are remote personal response systems that are similar to small tv remote controls and they work in the same way using radio frequency technology to transmit and record student responses or 'votes' to questions, concepts or MCQs in class. The system allows for active student participation either as individuals or groups in class. Clickers faciliates immediate feedback to the instructors tailored to the class group.
