Art and architecture complete is our main resource for architecture. It provides full text access to some 380 journals and 220 books. It also contains an image collection of over 63,000 images.

Art Full Text

Art Full Text includes full text material from over 320 periodicals. Subjects covered include architecture and architectural history, interior design and landscape architecture among many others.

Business Source Complete

Business source complete is another wide ranging database but you will find some architecture related material. Once again, some of the information will be available in full text PDF format.

Design and Applied Arts Index

Design and Applied Arts Index (DAAI) relates, obviously, to all aspects of design and applied arts, including architecture. It only provides abstracts. This means you will get a summary of the article concerned. You will also find the information you need to locate the full text article.


Info4education provided by IHS is a huge resource for all aspects of construction and engineering. All the information found on this database is provided by reputable organisations and all the information found is in full text PDF format.

 Institution of Civil Engineers Virtual Library

 The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Virtual Library is mainly a resource for civil engineering but you will find some information related to architecture.

 Science Direct

 Science Direct is one of the largest databases subscribed to by the library. In it you will find information on all topics, including architecture. Many of the results you find will be available in full text.
