Information Skills Training

Library staff can provide you with training so that you get the most out of the library’s collection of resources.

  • First-year orientation: Get an introduction to using the library. Learn the basics of searching the library and borrowing items, and all about the relevant collection of database and journal resources.
  • Advanced instruction: Learn how to avail of the library’s electronic resources, Arrow, and locate and search other repositories. You can also learn about using keywords and a search strategy.
  • At some of the libraries, you can get instruction on referencing software.
