Using Other Libraries


You may visit other academic libraries to read books or journals that are not available in the TU Dublin City Campus libraries. 

  • First, make sure the item you require is not available in any TU Dublin City Campus library.
  • Next, check the online catalogue of the library you wish to visit to ensure the item you require is available there.
  • Ask your TU Dublin City Campus library to give you a letter of introduction in order to gain access to the other library.

Note that you’re not entitled to borrow from other libraries.

Postgraduates, full-time academic staff and academic-related staff

TU Dublin City Campus Master’s and PhD students, full-time academic staff and academic-related staff may apply for an ALCID card, which entitles you to visit the libraries of ALCID member institutions.
