The School of Social Sciences and Law is delighted to announced that Colette Barry, graduate of the MA Criminology, has secured an Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship. This scholarship will enable Colette to complete a PhD at the School of Social Sciences and Law at Dublin Institute of Technology. Colette's innovative research will examine the effect of a death in prison on prison staff. Her work will be supervised by Dr. Mary Rogan and Dr. Kevin Lalor.   The School of Social Sciences and Law congratulates Colette on obtaining this prestigious award.
