Each year students fcompete for the opportunity to represent Ireland at the nationally-televised Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition held in China. The event was held in the Gresham Hotel. It is organised in partnership with the Confucius Centre. During the competition each candidate had to present a short monologue in Mandarin, demonstrate a talent relating to Chinese culture (e.g., contemporary or traditional music, martial arts, calligraphy), respond to three questions demonstrating knowledge of Chinese culture and history.
Well done to all the winners and participants of this prestigious competition !
Good luck to Max who will now represent Ireland in China!
