Ruth Cannon

Background

‌Ruth graduated with an LLB from Trinity College, Dublin in 1996. She subsequently obtained a BCL degree from Oxford University. Ruth was called to the Bar in 1999. Her research interests lie in the areas of land law, conveyancing, contract, landlord and tenant and probate law. Ruth lectures in Land Law on the BA (Ord) in Law (Part-Time) and on the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies. She also teaches the Foundations in Law (Civil) programme. Ruth lectured in Land Law and Administrative Law at Trinity College Dublin between 2002 and 2006 while on leave of absence from DIT. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D thesis on Mistake in Contract Law.
