Why does the DIT make Teaching Awards? College Teaching Awards are made to recognise quality in the teaching of individuals or teams of DIT staff. All DIT staff involved in teaching are eligible for this award. Winners are announced at College Boards and Academic Council and awards presented at the relevant Graduation Ceremonies;
Interested in applying yourself or want to encourage /nominate a colleague to apply?
There are two ways that staff can be encouraged to apply for an award – students nominating staff and staff nominating peers. The student online nominations for awards commence mid February of each year for three weeks. Applying for an award?
Applications for a school award are made through completion of the Application Form below and sending it to your College HoLD by Monday 17 June 2013.

Staff nomination Form B 2013 (why not encourage a colleague to apply by completing the form and sending it to your College contact? see list below)
Please note that both a Student and a Staff nomination form, will need to be included with each award application.
