DIT Showcase of Learning and Teaching Innovations 2010

This year's very successful Showcase was held on Wednesday, 13th January in DIT Bolton Street.The welcome address was by Dr Mike Murphy, Director, College of Engineering and Built Environment. This was followed by a preview launch of Coursewise by Noirin Hayes,  DIT's new module catalogue. View Coursewise.

The keynote speaker was Professor John Heywood (Fellow Emeritus, School of Education, Trinity College Dublin).

The 2009 winner of the President's Award for Teaching Excellence (David Williams of the School of Social Sciences & Legal Studies) also presented a plenary session. David William's Presentation

Contributions from DIT academic staff involved in innovative learning and teaching practices were featured during parallel sessions and a number of workshops were held in the afternoon.

This year's event also marks the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Learning and Teaching Centre at DIT and the afternoon will feature a panel discussion reflecting on the past ten years.
