The Learning, Teaching and Technology Centre are actively involved in supporting and collaborating on a range of institutional, national and international projects.
Through external funding we have been able to support a number of initiatives. In 2009, we established DIT Teaching Fellowships. These fellowships are aligned with both College and Institutional strategic objectives. HEA Strategic Initiative Funding was also used to help create Coursewise: the DIT Module catalogue as well as to support the use of ‘Clickers’ and Smartboard technologies across the Institute.
Each year the DIT seed funds institutional Learning, Teaching and Assessment projects to support changes in teaching practice that aim to enhance student learning within the Institute.
