Change 1 Thing - Winner!

‌Congratulations to Lucy Bowe, of the School of Accounting and Finance, who is the Week 2 Change 1 Thing by Spring campaign winner. Well done!

Lucy’s plan for this year is to focus on using active learning to engage students in large classes, using techniques such as taking questions via Twitter, Gallery Walk, quizzes, one minute feedback sheets and more extensive use of the collaborative tools in webcourses.

And for details of some of the other suggestions made to date:

Change 1 Thing - First Winner!

The LTTC Change 1 Thing by Spring campaign was launched on Sept 18th in Aungier st.  From the many great ideas for change submitted that day, we have our first winner! Congratulations goes to Judy Doyle from the School of Languages, Law and Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Tourism who wants to learn this year how to deliver lectures online. To help Judy on her way she has won a Logitech webcam and a Logitech headset.

‌Change 1 thing by Spring!

Are you ready to make some changes to your instructional approaches? The LTTC is here to help and will be disseminating good practice across ‌the three TU4Dublin institutions.

The ‘Change 1 Thing by Spring’ campaign, launched by Professor Rhona Sharpe on 18 September 2015, is designed to encourage colleagues to think of, and apply, teaching practice changes that make a positive difference to student learning.

Perhaps a new way of delivering content? Changes to how you present content? New assessment and assignment ideas? New ways of engaging your students? Changes to feedback? And much more.
