Interactive Whiteboards

SmartBoard PicHEA SIF 2 Funding under the Enhancement of Learning strand has been used to purchase Interactive Whiteboards in 6 Campus Buildings. For further information and training contact the LTTC.

 

Why Are Interactive Whiteboards Effective In Teaching & Learning?

Interactive Whiteboards can be used to display something on a screen or allow user interaction via means of 'digital pointers'
They can be used to capture classroom based discussions, and allow flexibility in terms of using software specific to mind mapping or digital flipcharts and using the connectivity of a computer they allow information displayed to be saved and modified at a later date, or printed for the class convenience
