Using video in your teaching - the practical and pedagogical skills

Overview

Aim: To provide an introduction to recording and publishing video content for learning and teaching.

This 2 day workshop will provide an overview of video recording, light and sound, editing  and publishing video content.

The types of cameras, mics and recording formats will be discussed, with a view to selecting the most appropriate equipment for the content being recorded.

Practical sessions will provide hands-on experience of creating a story board, selecting a location, framing shots, editing and publishing content to DVD and the web.

This workshop is suitable for all academic staff.
