Abbott is a global, broad-based health care company devoted to discovering new medicines, new technologies and new ways to manage health and has had a strong presence in Ireland since 1946. Abbott also has commercial operations in Dublin and shared services operations in Dublin, Sligo and Westport.
The many and varied Abbott divisions around the country develop and manufacture products that span the spectrum of the Life Sciences from medical devices, pharmaceutical therapies, nutritional products and diagnostics.
