Welcome to DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama – the home of Ireland’s future musicians and actors.
We are the largest provider of music and drama education in Ireland, and a hub of performance activity in Dublin.
For over 120 years the Conservatory has been providing quality education in music, for people across Ireland and beyond. We offer music study programmes from pre-Junior (age 3–7) right through to doctoral study, and an undergraduate programme in drama performance. We cater for all styles: classical and irish traditional (BMusEd/BMus/MMus), jazz (MMus), rock and pop (BA in Commercial Modern Music).
Our inspirational teaching staff of professional artists is drawn from local and national performing companies and includes internationally renowned performers and scholars.
Our talented students, from pre-5 to over 50, come from all over Ireland and around Europe to experience the highest quality music and drama education.
