SalesWISE training for senior sales people

A part-time Sales Management programme for SMEs, accredited by the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and developed in conjunction with FAS has been highly acclaimed by participants. Over one hundred and twenty senior sales people in Dublin and regional centres have embarked on the SalesWISE programme. The FÁS funded initiative has been described by participants as 'exceptional', 'critical' and 'highly applicable'.

SalesWISE focuses on sales management, sales process and sales strategy. Modules are delivered by a select group of world class trainers and practitioners. The programme is unique in its focus on practical implementation; participants are provided not only with theory, but also toolkits and methodologies to put the learning into action. Throughout each module the learning is applied to each participant's own company situation, during group break out sessions.

Programme Director Laura Cuddihy is keen to stress the practical nature of the course. 'In developing SalesWISE we aimed to fill a critical knowledge gap amongst SMEs of the practical sales tools and strategies that drive sales performance and business success. The feedback from our current participants has been extremely positive and their training has already impacted on the way that they do business.' she said.

The DIT is currently taking registrations for the next round of the SalesWISE programme which starts in Dublin North (Airport) and Dublin South (Citywest) from September 2007. FÁS are funding participation in the programme, the invoiced cost to companies for sixteen days training is just €1800. The programme is accredited and leads to a Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Sales Management from the DIT (depending on the participant's prior qualifications).
