DIT and ICT Ireland Launch New Postgrad Diploma in Management of Technology
In collaboration with ICT Ireland (IBEC), the Faculty of Business at Dublin Institute of Technology is offering a Postgraduate Diploma in Management of Technology with an option to complete a M.Sc. Technology and Innovation Management. The programme provides opportunities for technical and engineering graduates to develop a broad set of business, management and interpersonal tools. The intention is that over the life of the programme participants will emerge as ICT and engineering leaders with a strategic perspective on organisational issues and challenges.
This programme has been developed specifically to address the needs and interests of individuals with technology backgrounds, who wish to pursue management options in their career paths. It is specifically targeted at those wishing to develop a firmer grounding in the managerial and leadership issues facing today's complex organisations, thereby creating an ideal opportunity to develop practical inter-discipline leadership and managerial skills.
The programme is entering its third cycle and to date participant companies in the programme have included Intel, IBM, Ericsson, Aer Lingus, Irish Life and Permanent, Maxol, TDK, Symantec and Hewlett Packard.
The fee for the programme Postgraduate Diploma in Management of Technology is €2495. This fee has been subsidised by the ICT Ireland Skillnet. ICT Ireland Skillnet is funded by member companies and the Training Networks Programme, an initiative of Skillnets Ltd. Funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
