Open Day 2009 includes a comprehensive schedule of talks on the broad range of courses on offer in DIT from Accounting to Architecture to Tourism and Telecommunications, as well as general talks on CAO applications and making the right choice.
Guided tours of facilities will be available and DIT students will be present to speak about their first-hand experience of being a student and how they found the move from secondary school to third-level.
According to Frank Costello, DIT Admissions Officer and event organiser; "Open Day is a chance to pop in and find out more about what life in DIT is all about. Current students and staff will be on hand to answer any questions on our programmes.I would encourage those thinking of attending to come early and enjoy the fun including student performances, competitions and live radio broadcasts by Spin103.8."
