DIT goes Green for Earth Day
19th April 2012: This Sunday, April 22nd is Earth Day, and it marks the start of the 2012 DIT Green Week. The DIT Mental Planners Society, supported by a range of groups on campus, have put together a huge range of activities across DIT. Michael Barry, Chairperson of Mental Planners Society said, “Green Week is about sustainability and is a great way to bring this major issue to real life through social evenings, talks and other events. The Mental Planners thought Green Week would be a good learning opportunity while also being great fun. The week is bound to live up to these expectations and we encourage others to get involved to enjoy the same experience”
