Glocal Education Business Partnership, a Leonardo Da Vinci European funded conference, will examine how links between business and education can best respond to the issue of social exclusion in Ireland. According to the conference organiser Dr Thomas Cooke, 'A major part of the programme will explore how DIT, in particular the Community Links Programme, addresses social exclusion and educational disadvantage in Irish society.' The conference has attracted a significant international gathering, with representatives from 19 regions in nine countries attending.
